Kingdom Shine & Seal (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Kingdom Shine & Seal mobile CRM application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account and profile: When you register your device and complete setup, we collect your first and last name and associate it with your approved device and employee account.
  • Business data: In the course of using the App, you may enter or sync data about leads and customers (such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses), quotes, invoices, jobs, follow-ups, time entries, and notes. This data is stored and processed to provide the App’s CRM and field-service features.
  • Photos and media: If you grant permission, the App may access your device’s camera and photo library to attach images to quotes and jobs. Those images are stored in connection with the relevant quote or job.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: When you register the App on a device, we collect device name, operating system, and device model to link the device to your employee account and manage access.
  • Location data: If you grant permission, we use your device’s location (while the App is in use) to show leads and points on the map, support navigation, and set or edit locations (e.g., for new leads or map points). We do not track your location in the background.
  • Push notification token: To send you push notifications (e.g., quote viewed, quote accepted, invoice paid), we register and store an Expo push token associated with your employee account.

1.3 Data Stored on Your Device

The App uses local storage (e.g., AsyncStorage) to cache data, preferences (such as theme and language), and to support offline use. This data is synced with our backend when possible.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the App and related services.
  • Associate your device with your employee account and enforce access controls.
  • Store and sync leads, customers, quotes, invoices, jobs, follow-ups, and time entries.
  • Display maps, locations, and navigation; geocode addresses and map points.
  • Send quotes to customers (e.g., via magic links and optional SMS) and manage quote acceptance.
  • Create, send, and track invoices (including via payment providers).
  • Send you push notifications about quote and invoice activity.
  • Support address entry with autocomplete and support optional calendar sync for jobs and follow-ups.

  • We share data only as needed to provide the App and related services, including with the third-party services listed above (e.g., Supabase, Square, Mapbox, Google, Expo, Cloudflare).
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, subject to applicable law.

  • We use industry-standard measures (including secure connections and access controls) to protect data. Data is stored in our Supabase project and, where applicable, with the third parties listed above.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • Location: You can revoke location permission in your device settings. The App’s map and location-based features may then be limited.
  • Camera and photos: You can revoke camera and photo library access in your device settings; you will not be able to attach new photos from the App.
  • Push notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
  • Access and correction: You can update your name and other profile information in the App where available. For other access, correction, or deletion requests, contact your administrator or us using the contact details below.
  • Local data: Uninstalling the App will remove data stored locally on your device; data already synced to our backend will remain according to our retention practices unless you request deletion.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the App or otherwise make it available and will indicate the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
